it did help the story of the game but left me wanting puzzles to solve.
#MYST IV REVELATION V1.03 PATCH MOVIE#
This thread pertains to Exile and Revelation, I found Exile was wonderful while Revelation was too quick to be a movie with to much time watching sequences.
#MYST IV REVELATION V1.03 PATCH SERIES#
( very long game) I have the 3 books, and even found a comic book "The Black Ships." It was supposed to be a series of 4 comic books but sadly only 1 of 4 were printed. Since then I have purchased all the games played them all but sadly have never quite reached the end of Uru. I some how missed the tower clues and the safe clues so I would spend countless hours starting at 1 then click the lever then 2 click, 3 click until the safe in the cabin was finally open! The puzzles fascinated me. I picked it up, played it when I finally got the chance and I have been obsessed ever since. I began my love affair with Myst on a system called 3DO, my boyfriend would rent the system and a racing game or two and one day I found Myst on the self. I enjoy the whole series, I only have beaten and played Myst, and Riven, but have seen all 5 games. It is amazing to see all the actors in this game, the storyline is there, and yes I know some of the actors were not great at it, but still, it was nice to see it be like "real", and the ages were fantastic visual appeal, Serenia! The dream world was fun, I loved the "music video" that played, it was cute.

Myst 4: Revelation is a gorgeous game in terms of visuals, animations, and the ages as well. Yes the story unfolds in Myst later, but Myst 3 deals you the story immediately, and you have a purpose. The visuals were fantastic, 3D free roaming look through the screens, and upon starting, you get to see this gorgeous sun room! The villain in the game, has a great back story, and the story over all is well done, there was no "story" in Myst, and beginning Riven, you only know about capturing Gehn. The box art was cool, it made me want to buy the game.

Myst 3 exile was a different game when I saw it come out back in the 2000s. (Cyan doesn't own rights to Exile or Revelation, Ubisoft does, so licensing issues I am aware of) but its been years so lets talk about the games :) (I know some don't like 3 and vice versa) but whether they are your favorites or not, the reason why I made this post, was to remember the moments and talk about them, and maybe hopefully, they will digitally release those last 2 titles. It is a shame Myst 3 and 4 are not on GOG, because one, that would complete the series, and two, because they are great games. I own Real Myst (original) from GOG, and Riven as well from here, completed both, loved them, love the whole series, watched Let's Plays of all 5 Myst games.
